Writing: Writer for the past two+ decades, both online and off. Past credits include Woman’s Day, Playboy Online, The Herb Companion, and several years writing for Smart Computing Magazine, as well as many smaller publications. I am also the author of three books and was co-founder of the political/social satire site CrystalAir.com.
Editing: Was the online Philosophy Editor for About.com. Experience in content editing, copy editing, and proofreading, as well as online content management systems.
Internet/HTML: Designed and maintain sites for both of my physical businesses (YankeeScents.com, NorthEastSeasonings.com), as well as other sites. Very familiar with a variety of technologies and programs, including HTML, Wordpress, and Dreamweaver.
Screenwriting: Writer of numerous short scripts that have gone on to win a number of contests/film festivals, including the Omaha Film Festival (1 st), Phoenix Film Festival (1 st), deadCenter Film Festival (1 st), the Hollywood Screenplay Contest (Grand Prize Winner, Short Screenplay), as well as others. My short script “Tattoo” was made into a short film in 2016.

I’ve owned and operated the online business NorthEast Seasonings since 2010. We make custom organic culinary herb blends.
Owner, YankeeScents Potpourri – 2001 to present
I’ve owned and operated the online business YankeeScents Potpourri since 2001. We make custom potpourri, fragrance oil blends, and a variety of other products that we sell online.
Crystal Air Productions – 1998 to 2012
There were actually two versions of this that I was involved with: Crystal Air Productions, 1998 to 2003, where I wrote satiric radio skits that were produced in Boston for a couple of different national radio programs; and CrystalAir.com, 2005-2010, which published social and political satiric pieces (much like The Onion).
Published Books – 2004 to 2006
I published several books during this period, including “Click or Treat! The Best of Halloween and Horror on the Internet” (McFarland & Company, Inc., 2004), “The Internet Guide to Survival and Self-Reliance” (Paladin Press, 2005), and “The Frugal Senior” (Quill Driver Books, 2006).
Philosophy Guide, About.com – 1997 to 2001
Responsible for all aspect of writing for and managing the Philosophy site on About.com. Some of these responsibilities include: overseeing an active community, including chats and several forums; writing all articles, indexes, link annotations, etc; writing a biweekly newsletter with a subscription base of 3000; page optimization for search engines.
